This version of the chocolate mold was redesigned by 2ROBOTGUY with reduced plastic usage in mind. Compared to its predecessor, this one requires half the printing time and offers the advantage of diagonally removable mold pieces. To start using this mold effectively, print both sides as well as the mold clip separately. Ensure a smooth crevice-free surface by applying Acetone ABS mixture to the mold's surface, followed by tempering your chocolate. To assemble the mold, place the top mold pieces into the mold clip and secure them in place, while holding the bottom together with a rubber band. Once assembled, fill the mold with melted chocolate and let it cool. Then, gently remove the mold pieces by pulling them diagonally. A light tap on the mold can help loosen any stuck parts. As tested on a scaled version for the TOM bust, this redesigned mold produced a finished piece weighing 104 grams.
