Personally I think everybody is going to have a 3D printer next to his usual printer in the coming years. This will change everything completely. Most of the time I see efforts by people trying and sometimes succeeding at building complete products all at once with a 3D printer. I believe the simple and affordable extruder printer is a perfect tool for creating parts that can be combined with other parts to make anything you want. As soon as we need something, like a table, we will recycle as many parts in our household as possible to print the parts needed to create that table. After the wedding, the dress will become a pair of shoes. This is the way I think 3D printing will change the world. 30 kilograms of filament in a continuous cycle gives a whole new meaning to "cradle to cradle." I designed a table corner piece that you can easily print yourself in any color or material you prefer. Do this four times, two left and two right sides. For the tabletop you need a panel of wood 18 millimeters thick by the size you prefer. The legs need to be 22 by 28 millimeters and I made them 380 millimeters long but you can make yours as long as you like. You can screw it all together with four 4.0 by 40 millimeter screws and four 4.0 by 20 millimeter screws in the predestined holes, but it's not really necessary.
