I designed a custom spindle mount for StepCraft 2 because it doesn't come standard with one. To create sturdy parts, I recommend using Carbon Poly filament. Once I got that working, I used my 52mm Spindle to machine aluminum components. For ultimate stiffness, I highly suggest printing this model in carbon PLA or poly material. You can also increase the thickness by plus 5mm for even more rigidity without needing additional screws.
