A more powerful dust extractor for a 38mm hose. Can be opened and moved without tools to change the mill. Needs a bit of cleaning up to make it fit properly, but then the hose can be connected easily. Be sure to orient the parts properly as shown in the images:a) the lock needs the layers in the correct orientation to hold properlyb) the nose needs to be rotated to minimize support material issues. The nose may be glued in, but I have it printed such that it has a tight fit. The small locking "finger" may need some adjusting on the inside to control the pressure, since the thick paint on the StepCraft has a big impact on the angle. Carefully remove at the red lines, or just add something at the green line.A larger extractor for "real spindle motors" is also in the works, as can be seen in one of the photos. The reason for the bend in the hose connector is to keep the larger extractor small and still have clearance for the spindle motor.Added a simplified version that does not need the lockable connector. Probably a better solution if you are using the smaller spindles exclusively.
