I crafted a custom dust-shoe with an optimized cross-section and airflow to minimize noise levels. To add extra functionality, I attached brushes using a strong adhesive, securing them in place with cable ties or tape when needed. This design proves effective in my experience, allowing me to print without interruptions. The dust-shoe is specifically designed for use with a Kress spindle or similar models. I also have a thinner version suitable for the Proxxon IBS-E. My custom dust-shoes work flawlessly on the Flashforge Finder, printing at Standard Detail settings using PLA material without any issues. To ensure proper printing, I flatten both the dust-shoe and bed before starting the print job.
