Step2 Whisper RideII Steering Wheel Repair Shaft
thingiverse
My kid smashed the steering column off her Step2 Whisper Ride II ride-on car and I've finally got around to fixing it myself. The metal shaft slides right into the steering wheel and gets locked in place with three screws - you'll need to trim down the hole in the steering wheel to fit the thicker, replacement shaft smoothly. This is a pretty straightforward print job, but I decided to print it sideways so that it can withstand bending better, which meant I had to use supports all over the place. I also cranked up the wall thickness to five layers, knowing it's going on a kid's toy and needs to be super tough.
