Step shim for leveling laser cutter material
thingiverse
Got a laser bed that just won't stay level? Or maybe the bed is just a little warped in spots? Then this is the part you need. I use it for whenever I'm laser engraving glass or other stiff materials and I need a very flat plane with respect to the laser focal point. I usually keep 3 on hand in the machine to fine tune the problem corners or edges in partial millimeter increments. These are especially necessary if you are using a compound lens setup and are photo engraving hard materials and you noticed that one or more sections seems washed out. Check the head spacing and shim as necessary to keep the work at the proper focal length across the entire surface.
