I needed a sturdy step engine to stand firmly beside my laser in order to utilize it as a reliable laser shutter. The device consists of two key components: First, the support that allows you to insert and securely fasten your step motor in place. Next, the coupling which mates perfectly with the motor's rotor and provides a smooth surface for attaching your piece of black cardboard. (Note: The cut-cylinder shaped hole is located below, not visible on the preview picture) This setup is typically compatible with standard "arduino" step motor kits like reference 28BYJ-48 5VDC stepper.
