One day, we received a step motor with a gearbox that had a 14mm shaft, but I ordered an error-sized coupling with a 12mm shaft. We wanted to test the machine quickly under a 100kg load, so I designed a coupling. When it was printed, my colleague asked if it would actually work. I reassured him, "Don't worry, I'll show you." I climbed onto the machine, and everyone gasped in shock. It became clear that 3D printing is not just about making toys or models; it's a fully functional technology.
