This WWII British STEN Submachine Gun, infamously dubbed the "Plumber's Nightmare" or "Stench Gun," left an indelible mark on the infantry who wielded it. The troops either adored or loathed this utilitarian firearm, often with equal fervor. While its rugged appearance was hardly aesthetically pleasing, the STEN Submachine Gun proved itself to be a reliable and efficient tool in combat situations.
