The STEN gun was a highly effective family of British submachine guns chambered in 9mm and used extensively by British and Commonwealth forces throughout World War II and the Korean War. Its simple design and very low production cost made it an ideal insurgency weapon for resistance groups fighting against oppressive regimes. This model was created using 3ds Max, with textures painted in Substance painter. The asset boasts 8485 polygons and 8364 vertices, making it highly detailed and realistic. A wireframe view of the model can be seen in Marmoset viewer. The STEN gun comes with two sets of high-resolution PBR textures, each measuring 4096x4096 pixels. The separate parts of the gun can be easily rigged and animated, allowing for a wide range of creative possibilities. The model was rendered using the powerful tools available in Marmoset toolbag. A full suite of textures is included with the asset, including an albedo map, normal map, roughness map, metalness map, and height map, all saved in PNG format. For users working with other software packages, the textures are also provided in Vray and Unreal Engine 4 formats, packed for easy use.
