Picatinny rail attachment designed specifically for World War 2 British Sten Gun MkII, MkIII and MkV models. Five slotted rail allows for flexibility in attachment options, hinged to enable placement behind the magazine well. Use a 1/8in dowel or large cotter pin as hinge or print the 'StenRail - Hinge Pin' for a more precise fit. The bottom of the rail measures 3/4in in width, seamlessly fitting into the space between the ejection port and charging handle slot. Secure it with a #5 nut in the bottom for added stability. Given its placement, heat from the gun should not be a concern; however, to ensure durability, use ample infill material, especially since this rail will be supporting a sight or scope. There are three top versions available: 1. The first option is the tallest and most substantial version, featuring a robust design that ensures stability. 2. A slimmer alternative, still strong but shorter than its predecessor, provides flexibility in terms of placement without compromising on durability. 3. The third option is wider by 0.2in, offering a larger ID to accommodate sights, scopes, or bi-pods while maintaining vertical alignment.
