STEM Teaching Aid --> Foamboard Glider Control Surface Mounts
thingiverse
I created these "H" clips to educate students about airplane control surfaces. By building a simple homemade glider using DollarTree foam board, you can attach various angled "H" clips to the aircraft to simulate ailerons, flaps, elevators, and rudders. The students can then throw the glider and observe how each surface functions and experiment with different angle clips to achieve more or less aggressive maneuvers.
