STEM Stencil: Transverse Wave Properties and Structure
thingiverse
Update! Now comes with a celebratory version featuring hearts and stars! Couldn't track it down, so I reimagined it! This resource helps students craft interactive notebook entries, labs, and projects about wave structure, properties, and the connection between speed, frequency, and wavelength (λ). Includes two complete wavelengths, a long slot for students to draw up and down while moving across the page to get a hands-on experience with different wavelengths and frequencies, and as an added bonus, the original dots on the left and the long slot can be used to demonstrate compressions and rarefactions in compressional waves.
