STEM Merit Badges are ideal for acknowledging student involvement in STEM camps, workshops, and demonstrations. Designed to spark students' interest in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math careers, these activities offer a wealth of opportunities. A 3D printed STEM merit badge is an excellent keepsake that provides a tangible prompt for students to envision themselves as scientists, engineers, programmers, designers, and inventors. Hundreds of students received these badges during the summer of 2013, each themed to match various grade level programs. The badges were created in distinct colors to identify different teams within each program. For example, the hurricane badge was reserved for the natural disasters program, while the fish badge went to students participating in the biological adaptations program.
