Officially Extinct in 1768. Hydrodamalis gigas, commonly known as the Steller's sea cow, was a large marine mammal that was native to the North Pacific Ocean. It was one of the largest members of the order Sirenia, reaching up to 9 meters in length and weighing up to 11,000 kilograms. The Steller's sea cow was named after the German naturalist Georg Wilhelm Steller, who discovered the species in 1741. Unfortunately, the species was hunted to extinction by humans in the 18th century, just 27 years after its discovery. Model includes a Pre-supported version. The model is sized for 1:35 of the actual size. You can reduce or enlarge the model using the slicing software if you need a different size. Pre-supported model is oriented to minimize supports to the face and other high-detail parts. Care should be taken when removing the supports to avoid damaging the model.
