The individual before me was a human being, but their features were distorted and unrecognizable. Their face was twisted into a grotesque grimace, as if they had been subjected to some kind of unspeakable torture. I couldn't help but feel a sense of unease as I gazed upon them, my mind racing with all the terrible possibilities that could have led to this state.
