Stela of the goddess Kubaba

Stela of the goddess Kubaba

myminifactory

Before being a goddess, Kubaba stood as one of only a handful of women who ever ruled in their own right throughout Iraqi history. Most versions of the Sumerian King List place her as the sole ruler in her own dynasty, the 3rd Dynasty of Kish, an ancient stone tablet originally recorded in the Sumerian language that lists kings of Sumer, southern Iraq's ancient past. This object is part of "Scan The World". Scan the World is a non-profit initiative launched by MyMiniFactory, which aims to create a digital archive of fully 3D printable sculptures, artworks and landmarks from around the world for public access at no cost.
