Embedded male fetus, 1720 Eberhard Karls University of Tübingen In 1720, 91-year-old Anna Müller swore on her deathbed that she had been carrying a child for 46 years. She begged her pastor and doctor to retrieve it after she died. During the autopsy, a hard mass was discovered. It was opened with an axe and found to contain a deceased fetus. The stone child was handed over to the ducal art chamber in Stuttgart.
