I needed a cosplay prop for an upcoming Con, so I created this knife from scratch. It's a pretty impressive piece, standing at 36.5cm in length. There are some minor adjustments that still need to be made, but I'll get around to those soon enough. To ensure the pieces fit together seamlessly, I added supports inside the ends. Then, using superglue, I connected all the parts together. The print settings were quite specific: PLA was used, with an infill of honeycomb at 25% density. The layer heights were set at 0.4mm and 0.2mm, respectively. This resulted in an average printing time of around 3 to 3.30 hours. When it came to the smaller blade file, I created a separate mesh/model as normal. This was done specifically for smaller printers with CTC bed sizes, since the full-sized blade reaches lengths of up to 260mm. As for the bottom hoop, one end is flat unlike the rest - this part is designed to slot into the handle at the bottom.
