StefanHH's ball socket with socket replaced by base

I wanted to create my own custom base using StefanHH's ball socket part because the ball fits perfectly in the socket, but not so with his BallFlange part. My goal is to add Lego-compatible features to it. To achieve this, I borrowed an ME's workstation and modified the SLDPRT. Here's the result. As a test, I imported the SLDPRT into Alibre Design 2011 and successfully added a test boss feature to the base. This indicates that it will work well for everyone involved.
