To create my custom base, I utilized StefanHH's BallSocket part due to its perfect ball fit. However, his BallFlange part didn't have the same quality fit. I borrowed an ME's workstation and modified the SLDPRT file accordingly. As a test, I imported the new SLDPRT into Alibre Design 2011 and successfully added a test boss feature to the base. I believe this modification will be beneficial for everyone using it!
