Stefan Jaracz in Lodz, Poland
myminifactory
This is the fifth sculpture in the Gallery of Great Lodz, which has been adorning the street since April 1999. Piotrowska's likenesses commemorate famous people associated with the boat. An outdoor sculpture unveiled in 2006 shows an artist sitting on a theater seat. Beside it, there are three available seats designed for tourists and passers-by. Stefan Jaracz (1883-1945), a renowned author and one of the greatest men of the theater, was both an actor and director at the Athenaeum Theatre in Warsaw. He was also temporarily associated with theaters in Lodz and Poznan. This object is part of "Scan The World," a non-profit initiative introduced by MyMiniFactory. Through this initiative, we are creating a digital archive of fully 3D printable sculptures, artworks, and landmarks from around the globe for public access at no cost. Scan The World is an open-source community effort. If you have interesting items nearby that you'd like to contribute, email stw@myminifactory.com to learn how you can help.
