This is a prototype of a Mercedes-Benz like steering wheel created in PTC creo Parametric 3.0. I converted the files to parasolid (.x_t) and opend them with GrabCAD-Print. There was no mistake shown. I moved the parts so the model was printable with support structure. After printing, the parts are glued together. To me these parts embody realism because you always want a prototype to look and behave like the REAL thing. Especially at a steeringwheel the haptics and optics are really important. A good prototype also saves a lot of money.
