Following a specific request to design and fabricate a replacement steering wheel, I set out to create a new model that would seamlessly integrate into existing vehicle systems. To begin, I undertook the construction of a three-dimensional prototype, utilizing advanced software to ensure precise dimensions and intricate details. Once complete, I proceeded with printing the 3D design on an Anet A8 printer, using White Polymax material for its exceptional durability and versatility. In contrast, the original steering wheel was rendered in black, while my creation stood out in stark white, a testament to innovative design. The new steering wheel features an adapted interface, specifically designed to accommodate a button with a 7mm square footprint, ensuring seamless integration and functionality.
