Steering Wheel Phone Holder (remix)
thingiverse
A speedy DIY hack transforms the core element of the original blueprint. To fit my steering wheel snugly, I clipped the upper corners clean off. Next, I shortened the length to rest perfectly between the top of the wheel and center console, making room for a Samsung Galaxy S8+ in its case to sit comfortably. The ideal solution for a daily 30-minute commute waiting at a school bus stop with phone securely attached to the car stereo via Bluetooth. It's clear, but some readers need it spelled out: this design is not meant for use while driving. That's because there's no secure hold for the phone; one slight turn and it will surely fall off.
