My friend's old toy car steering wheel has finally given up, so I'm taking matters into my own hands to replace it. I've decided to print a new one using my Ultimaker2, and I've got all the settings dialed in: nozzle size is 0.4mm, shell thickness is 1.2mm, top and bottom layers are both 2.0mm thick, layer height is 0.15mm, fill density is 30%, and print speed is a steady 50%. No supports needed here! I've got some experience with this design already - in version three I beefed up the holding part by adding an arc around it. For version four, I upped the mounting hole diameter by 1mm to make sure everything stays securely fastened.
