Steering Gear

This model was built in SolidWorks. This is an updated design using modern parts from a classic rudder steering mechanism used in the age of sail. This design is meant to be used on any vessel or aircraft control surfaces and rudders. The control arm is intended to move at most +/- 35 degrees, angles beyond this usually result in stalling of the control surface. The center pin receiver can of course be changed to accommodate most any rudder stock head. Enjoy!
