This steering bar utilizes 8mm outer diameter flanged bearings for a smooth ride. It is designed specifically to complement the nicely crafted printable steering knuckles found on Thingiverse, identified by ID #2504971. Note that the geometry of these knuckles differs from stock designs, rendering this steering bar incompatible with standard components. As a result, the toe-in will be incorrectly calibrated. Two versions are available: a flat bar and a ribbed version for enhanced rigidity. These models have been successfully integrated onto Clod axles paired with Mattzilla's welded steel bumper servo mounts. However, compatibility issues may arise when using stock or alternative bumpers. For secure mounting to the knuckle, I recommend employing Traxxas 5mm step screws, which can be sourced through their website (ID #3642). Please note that this project is listed as a work in progress, pending comprehensive testing for performance and durability. The full truck has yet to be assembled, necessitating further refinement before final evaluation.
