This is a two-part upload, featuring either (1) a steering damper mount on a skateboard or (2) a steering damper mount with built-in Kobalt Battery holder and boost converter enclosure for charging on the go: 1 - Just the Steering Damper mounts (Damper Stiffener v4 ... files) 2 - Steering Damper mounts + battery mount + boost converter enclosure (Damper, Battery, and Boost Converter ... files) The damper motor mount portion is designed to fit on a Torqueboards motor mount. They share some parts such as the motor mount piece. I've provided .STEP files for easy modification, allowing you to make changes like removing the steering damper arm or adjusting the boost converter mount in your favorite CAD program. Parts required include M4 bolts of varying sizes and M4 nuts for the steering damper mount. For the Kobalt battery mount part, use M8 nuts and machine screws. This project uses a boost converter (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01MG4211N/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o04_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1), a watt meter (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01LVTST80/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o03_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1), and a steering damper (https://www.aliexpress.com/item/Motorcycle-Adjustable-Steering-Damper-Stabilizer-for-Suzuki-GSXR-600-750-1000-1300-Yamaha-XJR1300-FZ1-FAZER/32791821784.html?spm=a2g0s.9042311.0.0.346e4c4dieW3WA). To use the steering damper on your setup, download the STEP files and check for clearance. Make sure you can get full range of motion with the damper positioned at 50% travel. The mounting brace on the damper only slides up and down so much, and if you have less distance between the top of your board and your motor mounts, you will need to get creative with the STEP files or design your own mounts that allow for the damper to fit correctly. I used Nylon for all these prints. I wouldn't expect it to hold up well with other materials, but maybe PETG could work.
