This plug is designed to press fit snugly into the bottom of a 1-1/8 inch straight steerer tube on a fork that lacks a drilled brake hole, thereby facilitating the mounting of fenders. The plug features a precisely positioned 6mm hole for secure fender attachment.\r\n\r\nI created this plug with suspension corrected 29er forks in mind, deliberately positioning it to drop the mount further than usual in order to bring the fender closer to the tire. This design should also adapt easily to standard forks by pressing in further.
