The SteelSeries Arctis 7 is arguably one of the finest wireless headsets currently available, but for my personal experience it was nearly impossible to wear for extended periods without causing significant discomfort in my ears. This adapter provides a simple solution by enabling users to swap out the ear cups from the Sony MDR-RF985 (or any other model with approximately 100mm diameter ear cups) and apply them to any Arctis headset line, resulting in much deeper ear cups that distribute clamping force more evenly. By doing so, this adapter makes the SteelSeries Arctis 7 significantly more comfortable to wear, especially for individuals with larger ears.
