The part I enjoy the most is that it allows me to move my camera from printer to printer quickly and easily, as I have placed ball mounts on all of my machines. It also allows me to keep a good, cheap, adjustable mount on all my printers instead of moving one from place to place For my build I bought 1 inch steel ball bearings to use in various mounts (much cheaper than buying the steelie balls) , The mounts I made for these have some reliefs to allow the glue solid purchase.https://www.amazon.com/Inch-Chrome-Steel-Bearing-Balls/dp/B007B2AA0K One could also experiment with countersunk magnets as a replacement for the "official" steelie, I have not had the chance to try that yet. Super glue on the printed part and a little kicker (or baking powder) on the joining piece or steel ball worked great for me. Nearly everything except maybe the arm mounts can be printed with out supports. This system is a handy compliment to this $20 adjustable arm.
