Steelie Mag Ball adjustable camera or light mount

This is a system that utilizes the "Nite IZE Steelie" phone holder system as an easily adjustable Webcam or light mount. I enjoy filming prints and sometimes it's hard to get the right angle, This allows for quick precise changes without loosening knobs at joints, just rotate the camera, find the angle that is needed and it stays in place. The part I enjoy most is that it allows me to move my camera from printer to printer quickly and easily, as I have placed ball mounts on all of my machines. It also allows me to keep a good cheap adjustable mount on all my printers instead of moving one from place to place. For my build, I bought 1-inch steel ball bearings to use in various mounts (much cheaper than buying the Steelie balls), The mounts I made for these have some reliefs to allow the glue solid purchase. One could also experiment with countersunk magnets as a replacement for the "official" steelie, I have not had the chance to try that yet. Keep in mind they would lack the silicone center that provides friction that helps keep the position of the magnet. Most parts friction fit nicely but I would still add a little glue to help hold everything together as the magnets are very strong. Super glue on the printed part and a little kicker (or baking powder) on the joining piece or steel ball worked great for me. Nearly everything except maybe the arm mounts can be printed without supports. This system is a handy compliment to this $20 adjustable arm (have included a simple ball mount adapter that slides over the end and is held in place with the provided thumb screw).
