I'm using the Steelie mounting system with a custom setup in mind. After shelling out $40 for the windshield mount, $30 for the desktop version seemed like too steep a price tag. So I opted to create my own mount instead. I've got a 25mm ball bearing that I've attached to this mount's top using some strong adhesive. Next, I'll be securing the mount to my desk with ease.
