I'm planning to create a CNC machine for my company, but within a tight budget from my own pocket. The design will incorporate standard steel and draw inspiration from commercial CNC prototypes. My goals are stability, affordability, and precision. Currently, the blueprint has some incomplete parts. It will utilize HIWIN HGH 25 linear rails, which were previously used in other projects. Due to the slider block's height limitations, smaller ball-screws can be accommodated. The X and Y axes have anti-backlash features. Hybrid step motors are chosen for their power efficiency, as there are motor manufacturing companies nearby. To enhance accuracy, parts should be made in pairs. Local bending workshops and machinery shops can help with surface grinding and creating brackets for added precision. In this update, I've included cutouts to simplify assembly.
