Steel Ball Spinner
thingiverse
This is a simple spinner I created. It should fit 15 mm steel balls snugly. With good bearings, it should spin for a long time. I've included two versions: one with 15.5 mm holes and another with 16 mm holes. I haven't tested either of these yet, but they should work better than the original version with only 15 mm holes that had to be melted a bit. By the way, I obtained the steel balls from an old Magnetix set. UPDATE: I added 15 mm and 15.2 mm versions for an even tighter fit. Print Settings: Printer Brand: Rostock Printer: Rostock MAX V2 Rafts: No Supports: No Infill: 10-30% (the heavier the better) Post-Printing: If it's hard to insert the balls, you can heat up the holes a little bit and that should make it easier. How I Designed This: I designed this in SolidWorks.
