I had the printed axles break on the 1/10 Buggy so I modelled a new axle end that allows use of a 1/8" (3.175mm) steel rod for the axle shaft. To prepare the steel shaft cut it to the appropriate length (~72mm for short shaft, ~77mm for the long shaft) and file the end down on opposing sides to fit. Make sure to keep it a very snug fit, I had to tap mine in with a hammer. Use a dab of super glue to keep the end fixed to the steel shaft.
