Steca solar charger bezel

Steca solar charger bezel

I have a Steca PR1010 solar charger that I'm working with, and it's designed to mount right on top of a surface. This setup results in a bit of a bulky unit with visible wires underneath. To conceal this bulkiness, I designed a bezel to hold the unit snugly behind a wall surface. Since my camper van features 9mm walls, this design works perfectly for me, but you can easily adapt it using 123d design if your setup calls for thicker or thinner walls. The bezel itself consists of two main parts: part A, which serves as the primary component, and part B, a supplementary strip that covers any gaps between the bezel and the charger. This optional strip is easy to attach to part A using glue (for PLA) or acetone (for ABS). To secure the charger unit firmly in place, I use two wooden blocks that are 44mm high at the back of the wall panel.
