In July 2010, the PT-17 model received an upgrade with enhanced details such as new wings, improved textures, and more features. This scale model boasts a detailed radial engine, accurate propeller, and an added instrument panel. Additional elements include an air suction horn and pitot tube. The aircraft, utilized for basic flight training during World War II by various military branches, is both affordable and durable. Following the war, many were sold to the surplus market for civilian use in roles like flight instruction, crop dusting, patrol duties, and personal aviation. Some have been modified for aerobatic performances at air shows, while others remain in service as treasured aircraft today.
