In July 2010, the PT-17 model received an update with enhanced features such as new wings, improved textures, and additional details. Boasting near-scale construction and a meticulously rendered radial engine, this model is fully textured for accuracy. The propeller has also been refined for better detailing, and an instrument panel has been added. Additional features include an air suction horn and pitot tube. Available in various formats, the PT-17 was widely used as a basic flight training aircraft during World War II by multiple service branches. Post-war, these Stearman biplanes were sold to the surplus market and transitioned into civilian use for tasks like flight instruction, patrol duties, crop dusting, personal transportation, and aerobatics in air shows. Many remain airworthy today, highly valued by their owners.
