In July 2010, the PT-17 model underwent an update with enhanced features such as new wings, improved textures, added details, and a more accurate radial engine. Built near to scale, this model boasts a fully textured design. It also includes a detailed propeller, an instrument panel, air suction horn, and pitot tube. Available in various formats, the PT-17 served as a basic flight instructor aircraft during World War II across multiple service branches. Post-war, Stearman biplanes were inexpensive to construct, sturdy, and stable, with many remaining in operation today as flight trainers, patrol aircraft, crop dusters, personal planes, or aerobatic performers in air shows.
