In July 2010, the PT-17 model received an upgrade featuring enhanced detail, new wings, improved textures, and additional features. The meticulously crafted PT-17 boasts a near-scale radial engine, full texture, and increased accuracy. It showcases a more detailed propeller and includes an instrument panel, air suction horn, and pitot tube. This versatile model is available in multiple formats. During World War II, the PT-17 served as a basic flight training aircraft for various military branches due to its simple construction, affordability, durability, and stability. Featuring a radial engine, these biplanes were mass-produced before, during, and after the war. After serving their purpose in the military, many were sold on the surplus market and found new life as flight trainers, patrol aircraft, crop dusters, or personal planes. Some even underwent modifications for aerobatic performances at air shows. To this day, numerous PT-17s remain airborne, cherished by their owners for their historical significance and exceptional performance.
