In July 2010, the PT-17 model underwent an update featuring enhanced detail, new wings, improved textures, and additional features. The scale model boasts a highly detailed radial engine and is fully textured for accuracy. The propeller has been meticulously designed, while an instrument panel and air suction horn with pitot tube have also been incorporated. Available in various formats, the PT-17 was a popular World War II flight training aircraft used by multiple military branches due to its simplicity, affordability, durability, and stability. Post-war, many were sold on the surplus market, finding use as flight trainers, patrol planes, crop dusters, and personal aircraft. Some were even modified for aerobatic performances at air shows.
