Steampunked 2020 end cap
thingiverse
I decided to give my desktop-CNC a bit more flair by upgrading its 2020-section frame ends. For other CNC accessorising projects, I've experimented with a steampunk theme using my 3D printer, so it was only natural to apply the same aesthetic to this project. The end caps are designed as two separate pieces, allowing me to achieve high-quality prints while minimizing support material. In fact, the only support required is a small hole underneath the top cap, which won't be visible in the finished design. Once that's removed, I can simply glue the two parts together and slide them into place within the 2020-section. To enable customization, I've included the OpenSCAD file for this project here.
With this file you will be able to print Steampunked 2020 end cap with your 3D printer. Click on the button and save the file on your computer to work, edit or customize your design. You can also find more 3D designs for printers on Steampunked 2020 end cap.
