Steampunk Shelf Bracket
thingiverse
Hi! Need some shelf brackets that pack a mechanical punch? Thingiverse has plenty to choose from, but I'm after something with a steampunk vibe that's easy to print. Made with 123Design using gears from example models. Here are three designs: one with a single nail hole, another with two holes (I used two hooks for this), and a third with a full gear visible from behind. The 123Design file is included, so feel free to modify as you see fit. Hope you find it useful! Print Settings: Printer: BQ Prusa i3 Hephestos Rafts: None Supports: Not necessary Resolution: 0.2mm Infill: 20% Notes: Tested with PLA. I printed one with supports and another without, and the results were similar, so use supports only if you really need to. A 0.2mm resolution is fine, but a 20% infill or more is recommended for added strength, especially when holding heavier items like glass and plastic figures. Scale the original files as needed – I know they're small for most shelves.
