Steampunk NutCase Geocaching Container
thingiverse
I tried several NuteCase, but none of them really impressed me. Either I had to do a lot of reworking or they started to sag right after printing. It's also possible that I tried the wrong ones, in any case I decided to create a new NuteCase for geocaching from scratch. Here is the result! The two outer nuts (hpMutter3.stl) are securely attached, and the code that only appears on one nut should point towards the 60° leg of the garment. The other two nuts (hpMutter1.stl and hpMutter2.stl) are pushed onto the two threaded parts. Don't screw them in! These two nuts have a unique code that appears only once on each nut. If these codes are aligned with the two outer nuts, the threaded legs can be moved freely. The two dummy screws on the sides of the container are specifically designed for geocaching. They display correction values, encoded with Roman numerals, for an alternative coordinate separated into east and north directions. In the listing, you can have the geocacher calculate an alternative coordinate in case it cannot open the container. These two dummy screws are also securely attached. So that the geocaching container can be tailored to your specific needs, I have included the OpenScad file. Print parameters: * 40% filling density * 0.12mm layer height * 6 vertical contours * 6 horizontal contour envelopes * 80mm/s print speed * Support is not required With a successful print, I would be thrilled to receive a Like!
