Steampunk Light Switch Cover
thingiverse
My mom is super into steampunk stuff and she found an image online of a pretty sweet steampunk style light switch cover. She was wondering if it could be 3D printed, so I jumped on the project right away, using the photo she showed me as inspiration. To create this cool design, I used a few things from Thingiverse - thing #27097 and thing #29596, to get a better sense of the style. My mom is really into steampunk gear decor, which totally made this project a breeze. The gear stuff you see on my light switch cover design comes directly from Thingiverse as well - it's like a fusion of different pieces. I designed the whole thing using Autodesk Fusion 360, with an Ultimaker 2 and Prusa i3.
