Steampunk Hinge

These hinges are perfect for a BBQ cabinet, but they can also work well for boxes or cabinets of all sizes. They're incredibly strong - I would rate them with a minimum capacity of 15-20 pounds or 7 kilograms. I applied a finish by mixing acetone with copper powder as the first coat and then using a combination of half carpenter's glue and half water with copper powder again. This will likely change color and turn green when exposed to humidity, which is exactly what I was going for. Copper polishes easily with soft Dremel tools. A 1.75 millimeter filament is used as the hinge pin. The hinges were printed in ABS at a resolution of .3 millimeters.
