SteamPunk Bong

SteamPunk Bong

This double-chambered bong boasts a unique steampunk design, resembling industrial equipment. It prints in separate components and accommodates standard acrylic bong hardware. You'll need an extra-long metal down tube with screw-on bowl and two rubber grommets - one for the bowl and one for the mouth straw. The down tube length is crucial to extend smoke delivery all the way down to the bottom chamber where a diffuser receives it, and also to elevate heat above the plastic. I designed this bong using primitives within the Second Life game, and my friend kindly exported it for me. There's also a version in-world that combines the top section with the mouth straw for stability purposes; I can export and upload it upon request. Instructions: Print each component separately and assemble with 16 4-40 screws featuring bunny ears nuts. The bong disassembles easily for cleaning, allowing you to reach every corner and crevice once it's taken apart. P.S. Someone messaged me, pointing out that the design is tiny! I scaled it in Second Life to one meter equals one inch in real life because this was created back in February, and at the time, I didn't know 3D printers use millimeters as their unit. So, simply scale this object by 24.5, and you'll be good to go. Ah, great news! I imported one part of this bong into MakerBot Desktop software, and a pop-up menu informed me that the object seemed designed for inches; would I like to scale it up to millimeters? I clicked affirmative, and the part appeared in the correct size. No problem at all!
